This unstructured learning style means you can set your own goals while receiving personalised guidance on everything from mastering consistent ¼-inch seams and efficient block construction to trying out Quilt-As-You-Go or exploring free-motion quilting with stencils.
All areas of instruction are around machine patchwork and quilting and can include:
- Cutting fabric accurately and safely.
- Block construction techniques and efficiencies, including sub-cutting.
- Perfecting essential patchwork blocks and row assembly.
- Exploring machine quilting, from straight and curved designs to free motion.
- Binding and finishing techniques to give your quilt a beautiful finished look.
This open class setting fosters a fun and relaxed atmosphere where you can work on the projects you love while connecting with like-minded quilters who share your passion. You’ll not only gain new skills but also the confidence to explore your creativity and take on future quilting adventures.
