    With 30 colours ranging from useful neutrals and earthy shades to clear brights, blues, greens, pinks and purples, Dimples is one of those hardworking fabric collections that can find its way into almost any quilt.

    A Tonal Blender with Subtle Texture

    Look closely at Dimples and you'll see the tiny irregular marks that give the collection its name. The tone-on-tone design creates gentle variations of light and dark across the fabric, giving it more visual texture than a plain cotton while still allowing it to read as a single colour.

    That makes Dimples particularly useful for balancing patterned fabrics. Use it for backgrounds, borders, sashing and binding, introduce it where a quilt needs another value of the same colour, or combine several shades to create a quilt where colour rather than print does the talking.

    It's also a useful choice for appliqué and small-scale piecing, where a larger print might become lost once the fabric is cut.
