Matilda's Own Wool Poly Blend
A Durable and Soft Wool-Poly Blend for Loft and Stability
Matilda’s Own Wool Poly Blend Wadding combines the best of both fibres, offering the natural warmth of wool with the durability and loft of polyester. Made from 60% Australian wool and 40% polyester, this wadding provides a resilient structure while maintaining softness and breathability. It is a great option for quilters who want a balance of warmth and stability, making it suitable for both everyday quilts and heirloom projects.
This wadding is needle-punched with a fine scrim to prevent bearding and ensure durability. It has an approximate loft of ⅛+ inch (3mm), a maximum stitch distance of 10" (25.4cm), and is prewashed and preshrunk for minimal shrinkage (2.5%). Designed for both hand and machine quilting, it offers excellent stitch definition and long-lasting shape retention.

- Cut to length in half-metre increments for custom sizing
