Inspired by traditional shirting and reproduction-style fabrics, the collection brings together delicate prints that feel as though they might have been gathered from a much-loved fabric cupboard over many years.

    Soft creams and parchment tones form the foundation, joined by faded pink, powder blue, mint, taupe and touches of lavender. Fine florals, tiny dots and narrow stripes create plenty of useful low-volume texture, while rabbits, cats, dogs and wonderfully whimsical little horses give the collection its distinctive personality.

    A Collection Made for Mixing

    What makes Hazelmont Farm Shirtings particularly useful for quilting is the variety within its gentle palette. The lighter prints can work beautifully as backgrounds and low-volume alternatives to plains, while the subtle changes in colour and pattern add interest without overwhelming a quilt design.

    At Morris Works, we have Hazelmont Farm Shirtings available in three Andover precut formats: 2.5" strip rolls, 5" charm squares and 10" squares. Each gives you a coordinated selection from across the collection, whether you're working with strip piecing, small patchwork pieces or larger blocks where those charming motifs have more room to show.

    Use Hazelmont on its own for a soft, vintage-inspired quilt, or introduce deeper colours to create stronger value and contrast.
