About Us

Morris Works is a UK online quilt fabric shop, owned and managed by Gabrielle (that’s me) and William Morris. Our focus is quilting and textile arts as this is our passion. We specialise in craft sewing and quilting tools and supplies with an aim to inspire others. 

We have a working studio on the beautiful Brighton seafront - though not a retail shop, we always welcome people to stop in and say hello. We can usually be found in the studio designing or creating new quilted products, fabric kits, or unique patterns to sell in our online shop. Our online fabric shop sells 100% cotton quilting fabric, quilt kits, quilt patterns, and specialised patchwork tools & supplies. 

We are continually growing our fabric shop online offerings of quilting tools, sewing notions, natural wadding, fusible web and beautiful quilt fabric selections. We have also been very busy slicing up our quilting fabric into studio-cut fat quarters for our unique Morris Works fat quarter bundles collection.

As an avid quilter myself, I know the importance of working with quality cotton quilting fabric and tried-and-tested patchwork and quilting tools. We spend so many precious hours on any given piece and we want it to stand up to daily use and last for generations. 

I consider it an investment when purchasing quilting tools and sewing supplies, and want to ensure my customers receive the best value for the product they purchase from us. We’re committed to only stocking the best products from reputable manufacturers and suppliers - with a focus on UK made.

Dedicated to teaching and inspiring others in this traditional craft - with a modern twist - we will be offering in-person and online courses in early 2022.
