The Hazelmont Farm Shirtings 10" Square Pack by Max & Louise for Andover Fabrics gives the collection’s delicate details a little more room to shine, with 42 generously sized precut squares.
Hazelmont Farm Shirtings has the look of fabrics gathered over time. Fine florals, tiny dots and narrow stripes sit alongside wonderfully characterful prints featuring rabbits, cats, dogs and whimsical little horses. The palette is beautifully soft, moving through warm creams and parchment tones into faded pink, powder blue, mint, taupe and lavender.
The larger 10" squares are particularly good for showing off those charming illustrated motifs without cutting them too small. Use them for layer-cake-friendly quilt patterns, larger patchwork blocks, half-square triangles and other designs where you want the individual prints to remain part of the story.
There is plenty of low-volume interest here too, making Hazelmont Farm Shirtings lovely for traditional and vintage-inspired quilts or for mixing with deeper fabrics when you want contrast without reaching for a plain background.
