The Hazelmont Farm Shirtings 5" Charm Pack by Max & Louise for Andover Fabrics gathers this wonderfully nostalgic collection into 42 ready-cut squares.
Inspired by traditional shirting fabrics, Hazelmont Farm combines delicate florals, tiny dots and fine stripes with an assortment of charming illustrated prints. Rabbits hide amongst delicate branches, while cats, dogs and whimsical little horses add unexpected character. The colours are soft and gently aged, with warm cream and parchment backgrounds accompanied by faded pinks, powder blue, mint, taupe and touches of lavender.
With so many light and low-volume prints, this is also a particularly useful collection for creating backgrounds with far more interest than a plain fabric. Mix the squares with deeper colours for contrast, combine them with reproduction-style fabrics, or let their subtle differences do the work in a softer patchwork design.
The pack contains 42 squares measuring 5" x 5", precision cut by Andover Fabrics from 100% cotton quilting fabric. A lovely starting point for charm-square quilts, patchwork, small projects and traditional designs with a slightly playful twist.
