Hobbs Poly-Down Polyester Quilt Wadding 108" Wide
Hobbs Poly-Down is perfect for creating lofty quilts with with beautiful quilting stitch definition.
Poly-Down wadding / batting is made with very fine, white, denier polyester which enables this batting to provide a soft feel and lovely drape. Exceptional for hand quilting, it is also prized by machine quilters for its wonderful loft which accentuates quilting details.
This wadding / batting is bonded to provide added durability, resist bearding and migration. It is machine-washable, non-allergenic and maintains its loft.
Items made with Hobbs Poly-Down wadding / batting may be machine washed – it is recommended all quilts be washed using a delicate cycle and cool water, with no heavy agitation or spinning. Please be especially cautious with front loading washers as the intense spin cycle on these machines can be very hard on quilts. Items made with Poly-Down may also be machine dried on a low-heat setting.
Poly-Down is a perfect wadding for light and medium coloured fabrics which will keep your light coloured fabrics looking crisp and bright. This wadding may be stitched up to 4″ apart and no shrinkage is expected after the first washing.
Pre-washing is not recommended for this wadding product.

Washing Instructions for Finished Quilt
Wash in cold to warm water.
A finished quilted item can be hung to air dry or tumble dried in a drier on cool to warm setting.

Good true to size and easy to manage
Am making a large quilt from curtain fabric thus wanted a lightweight inexpensive thin batting. This works for me.
