2.5" Strip Roll – Grey Prints
Versatile greys with softness, depth and balance
This 2.5" strip roll is cut in house at Morris Works Quilt Shop and curated around a refined grey palette. Each roll brings together quality 100% cotton quilting prints selected for tonal harmony rather than identical designs. Fabrics are drawn from both current and previous stock, so individual prints may vary from roll to roll while the overall look remains consistent, calm and highly versatile.
Expect a thoughtfully balanced mix of pale greys, mid-tones and deeper charcoal shades, with subtle printed details that add texture without overpowering a design. Grey prints are a staple in patchwork, valued for their ability to bridge colours, soften contrasts and provide visual structure without drawing too much attention to themselves.
Each roll contains 21 strips, cut to 2.5" x WOF (approximately 43" wide / 6.4 cm x approx. 109 cm). This format works beautifully with jelly roll–friendly quilt patterns, making it easy to create strip sets, log cabins, rail fences and clean, linear layouts. The strips are equally useful for borders, bindings, sashing and pieced backs, as well as for table runners, cushions, wall hangings and practical sewing projects such as project bags and organisers.
Grey Prints pair effortlessly with almost any colour palette, making them an excellent supporting player in both bold and subtle designs. Use them alongside bright colours for contrast, with pastels for a softer look, or layered with other neutrals for understated, modern patchwork. Combining these strips with plain solids or lightly textured blenders can help achieve a polished, well-balanced finish.

Manufacturer recommends cool wash. Tumble dry on low. Do not bleach.
