2.5" Strip Roll – Green Prints
Fresh, layered greens with a natural, balanced feel
This 2.5" strip roll is cut in house at Morris Works Quilt Shop and curated around a vibrant green-led palette. Each roll brings together quality 100% cotton quilting prints selected for colour harmony rather than exact pattern matching. Fabrics are drawn from both current and previous stock, so individual prints may vary from roll to roll while the overall balance and freshness remain consistent.
The palette spans the lively, yellow-leaning tones of Lime (03), the softer, botanical hues of Leaf Green (04), and the deeper, grounding tones of Green (05). Together, these colourways create a layered range from bright and energetic through to calm and earthy, adding depth and interest while keeping a cohesive, natural feel.
Each roll contains 21 strips, cut to 2.5" x WOF (approximately 43" wide / 6.4 cm x approx. 109 cm). This format is ideal for jelly roll–friendly quilt patterns, making it easy to build strip sets, log cabins, rail fences and modern linear designs. The strips are equally useful for borders, bindings, sashing and pieced backs, as well as for table runners, cushions, placemats and practical sewing projects such as project bags and organisers.
These Green Prints pair beautifully with soft neutrals to keep the palette light and balanced, or with cooler shades such as Teal or Aqua to expand the colour story while staying fresh. Adding plain or lightly textured blenders can help anchor the stronger greens and give the finished project a calm, cohesive finish.
