2.5" Strip Roll – Purple Prints
Layered purples with richness, contrast and flair
This 2.5" strip roll is cut in house at Morris Works Quilt Shop and curated around a richly layered purple palette. Each roll brings together quality 100% cotton quilting prints selected for colour harmony rather than exact pattern matching. Fabrics are drawn from both current and previous stock, so individual prints may vary from roll to roll while the overall look remains cohesive, expressive and full of depth.
The palette moves through the balanced, classic tones of Purple (14), into the cooler, jewel-like hues of Amethyst (15), and on to the brighter, more expressive lift of Fuchsia (16). Together, these colourways create a dynamic range from deep and composed through to lively and vibrant, adding contrast and movement while remaining beautifully balanced.
Each roll contains 21 strips, cut to 2.5" x WOF (approximately 43" wide / 6.4 cm x approx. 109 cm). This format works beautifully with jelly roll–friendly quilt patterns, making it easy to build strip sets, log cabins, rail fences and striking linear designs. The strips are equally useful for borders, bindings, sashing and pieced backs, as well as for table runners, cushions, placemats and practical sewing projects such as project bags and organisers.
These Purple Prints pair beautifully with soft neutrals to let the colour take centre stage, or with deeper tones such as Indigo or Charcoal for a richer, moodier finish. Adding plain or lightly textured blenders can help anchor the stronger hues and give the finished project a clean, cohesive look. Washing Instructions
Manufacturer recommends cool wash. Tumble dry on low. Do not bleach.
