2.5" Strip Roll – Orange Prints
Warm, glowing oranges with depth and spice
This 2.5" strip roll is cut in house at Morris Works Quilt Shop and curated around a rich, warm orange palette. Each roll brings together quality 100% cotton quilting prints chosen for colour harmony rather than exact pattern matching. Fabrics are selected from both current and previous stock, so the individual prints may vary between rolls while the overall tone and balance remain consistent.
The colour mix draws on the lively, mid-tone hues of Orange (22) alongside the deeper, honeyed warmth of Amber (23). Together, these colourways create a pleasing range from bright citrus to softly burnished orange, adding depth and interest without overpowering a design.
Each roll contains 21 strips, cut to 2.5" x WOF (approximately 43" wide / 6.4 cm x approx. 109 cm). This format works beautifully with jelly roll–friendly quilt patterns, making it easy to piece strip sets, log cabins, rail fences and modern linear designs. The strips are equally useful for borders, bindings, sashing and pieced backs, as well as for table runners, cushions, placemats and practical projects such as project bags and organisers.
These Orange Prints pair especially well with soft neutrals to keep the palette balanced, or with deeper tones such as Red or Golden Yellow to introduce contrast and richness. Combining the strips with plain or lightly textured blenders helps anchor the warmer hues and gives the finished project a calm, cohesive finish.
