2.5" Strip Roll – Teal & Aqua Prints

This 2.5" strip roll is cut in house at Morris Works Quilt Shop and curated around a fresh, water-inspired palette of teal and aqua tones. Each roll brings together quality 100% cotton quilting prints selected for colour harmony rather than exact pattern matching. Fabrics are drawn from both current and previous stock, so individual prints may vary from roll to roll while the overall look remains cohesive, fluid and beautifully balanced.
The palette flows through the soft, green-leaning blues of Sea Green (06), the richer depth of Teal (07), the clear brightness of Aqua (08), and the cooler, crisper notes of Cyan (09). Together, these colourways create a layered range that feels calm and refreshing, with enough contrast to add depth and visual interest without overwhelming a design.
Each roll contains 21 strips, cut to 2.5" x WOF (approximately 43" wide / 6.4 cm x approx. 109 cm). This format works beautifully with jelly roll–friendly quilt patterns, making it easy to build strip sets, log cabins, rail fences and modern linear layouts. The strips are equally useful for borders, bindings, sashing and pieced backs, as well as for table runners, cushions, placemats and practical sewing projects such as project bags and organisers.
These Teal & Aqua Prints pair effortlessly with soft neutrals for a light, airy feel, or with deeper blues and greens for a richer, more dramatic palette. Adding plain or lightly textured blenders can help anchor the cooler tones and give the finished project a clean, cohesive look.
