Made from a premium blend of 80% Australian cotton and 20% polyester, this wadding combines the natural drape and comfort of cotton with the resilience of polyester. The result is a lightweight wadding that handles well during quilting and holds its shape beautifully over time, even after repeated washing.
It is needle-punched with a fine scrim to prevent bearding and maintain stability during quilting. With an approximate loft of ⅛+ inch (3mm), a recommended maximum stitch or tie distance of 10 inches (25.4 cm), and minimal shrinkage (2.5%), this wadding performs consistently and delivers a clean, low-loft finish. It is prewashed, preshrunk, and fully machine washable.

Care & Usage Tips
- Shrinkage: 2.5%
- Maximum Stitch Distance: 10" (25 cm)
- Suitable for both hand quilting and machine quilting
- Prewash not required. Recommended to wash in cold or cool water. Note that if washed in warm or hot water, additional shrinkage will happen, resulting in a very crinkled look. It is always recommended to air dry, though a finished quilted item can be tumble dried in a drier on a cool setting.
