Made from 100% bamboo fibres, this wadding is one of the most environmentally friendly options available. Bamboo grows naturally without the need for supplemental irrigation or pesticides, making it a sustainable choice for quilting. It is naturally antibacterial, hypoallergenic, and exceptionally soft, providing comfort and warmth without added weight.
This wadding is needle-punched with a fine scrim to prevent bearding and ensure stability. With an approximate loft of ⅛+ inch (0.3+ cm) and a maximum stitch distance of 10" (25.4 cm), it supports both hand and machine quilting techniques. Care & Usage Tips
- Shrinkage: 2.5%
- Maximum Stitch Distance: 10" (25 cm)
- Suitable for both hand quilting and machine quilting
- Prewash not required. Recommended to wash in cold or cool water. Note that if washed in warm or hot water, additional shrinkage will happen, resulting in a very crinkled look. It is always recommended to air dry, though a finished quilted item can be tumble dried in a drier on a cool setting.
