Blending 80% high-quality natural cotton with 20% fine polyester, this low-loft wadding offers the best of both worlds: the breathability and feel of cotton with the added strength and reduced shrinkage of polyester.
It needles beautifully—whether you’re quilting by hand or machine—and holds its shape well over time, even with frequent use or washing. The polyester helps the wadding resist bearding and stretching, making it ideal for beginners and experienced quilters alike.
Sold cut to length by the half metre at a generous 96" (244 cm) wide, this format is perfect for large quilts, custom sizes, or anyone who wants to buy just what they need. You can quilt up to 4" (10.2 cm) apart, and once your quilt is complete, it’s fully machine washable with an expected shrinkage of around 3–5%—just enough to give that classic, softly crinkled finish many quilters love.
