Product Description
Tonal Pinecones in Cranberry from the Holiday Flourish Collection by Robert Kaufman
Crimson Woodland Details with a Touch of Golden Sparkle
Rich cranberry red sets the scene for a delicate woodland design in Tonal Pinecones in Cranberry from Robert Kaufman's Holiday Flourish Collection. Clusters of pinecones and fine evergreen needles are illustrated in complementary shades of crimson, berry red, muted burgundy and warm red-orange, creating a beautifully layered tonal effect. Scattered metallic gold flecks add a subtle shimmer across the background, bringing light and contrast to the predominantly red composition. The result is a festive cotton print with an understated elegance that celebrates the natural textures of a winter woodland.
The pinecone clusters vary in size and orientation, with softly contrasting colours allowing the individual motifs to emerge without overpowering the rich cranberry background. This makes the fabric particularly versatile for Christmas patchwork and quilting, where its tonal character provides visual texture alongside more contrasting prints. Use it for quilt blocks, borders, sashing and binding, or feature larger sections in a traditional Christmas quilt to showcase the intricate pinecone illustrations. The metallic gold accents introduce a decorative finish that complements both classic and contemporary seasonal designs.
For festive home décor, this cranberry red pinecone fabric is well suited to Christmas table runners, placemats, decorative cushion covers and fabric centrepieces. Its warm colouring also makes it an appealing choice for handmade stockings, tree decorations, reusable gift bags and advent projects. Beyond Christmas sewing, the tonal woodland pattern offers an attractive option for quilted pouches, fabric baskets, project bags and accessories where a rich red print with delicate natural detailing is desired.
Made from 100% cotton with a weight of 145gsm, this Robert Kaufman metallic quilting cotton is suitable for patchwork, appliqué, decorative sewing and general craft projects. Its woven cotton construction supports accurate cutting and piecing, while the gold metallic detailing adds a gentle sparkle to finished projects.
Coordinate Tonal Pinecones in Cranberry with other fabrics from the Holiday Flourish Collection for a harmonious seasonal palette. Speckles in Cranberry makes a particularly effective companion, echoing the rich red background and metallic gold highlights while offering a simpler pattern for borders and smaller piecing. Introduce Speckles in Evergreen for traditional Christmas contrast, or combine with cream, ivory and warm gold blenders to brighten the overall design. Whether used as a feature fabric or a richly textured supporting print, this cranberry Christmas quilting fabric brings warmth, woodland detail and festive character to handmade creations.
