The Shimmer Water Strip Roll brings together 21 coordinating fabrics from Northcott's popular Shimmer Collection, featuring a beautiful selection of blues, teals, turquoise and greens. We've selected prints from four colourways—Deep Sea, Dusk, Peacock and Lagoon—to create a versatile palette that moves from deep ocean blues through vibrant turquoise to softer aqua and seafoam greens.
The collection includes a mixture of Shimmer's five distinctive designs—Multi Dot, Tiny Dots, Speckle, Pebbles and River Rocks. Each offers a different scale and texture, giving plenty of variety while keeping the colours beautifully coordinated. Gold metallic detailing runs throughout the fabrics, adding a lovely shimmer that is particularly noticeable when the light catches it.
Each roll contains 21 strips, measuring 2½" wide and cut across the width of the fabric. The strips are cut in-house at Morris Works and carefully assembled into a coordinated roll, ready for your next quilting project.
The combination of colours and prints makes this roll particularly useful for strip-pieced quilts, log cabin blocks, rail fence designs and scrappy borders. The range of light and dark fabrics provides plenty of contrast, while the different print scales add interest without competing with one another. The strips are equally useful for smaller projects such as table runners, cushions, bags and accessories.
We've put this selection together for anyone who loves working with blues and greens but wants something a little more interesting than a traditional tonal bundle. The metallic detailing adds an extra dimension to the fabrics, and the mix of prints gives you plenty of flexibility when planning your next project.
If you find a particular print you love, each fabric in the collection is also available cut to length, making it easy to come back for more of your favourites.
