The Pop Cloth Strip Roll brings together the full collection by Sew Kind of Wonderful for Free Spirit in a colourful, ready-to-sew format. With 28 strips in total, including two of each of the 14 fabrics in the collection, it gives you the complete Pop Cloth palette in one coordinated roll.
Each strip is studio cut in-house at Morris Works and measures 2.5 inches wide by the width of fabric. The fabrics are 100% cotton quilting fabric, approximately 145gsm.
Pop Cloth is full of colour and personality, combining contemporary florals, circles, dots, geometric designs and expressive illustrative prints. Across the roll you'll find vivid pink and orange, fresh aqua and turquoise, greens, purple, chartreuse and deeper charcoal tones. Having two strips of every design makes it easy to repeat colours and motifs throughout a project while maintaining plenty of variety.
The 2.5" strip format is particularly useful for strip-pieced quilts, log cabin blocks, borders, bindings and other patchwork designs built around precut strips. Individual strips can also be used for smaller sewing projects, including bag panels, pouches, fabric baskets and pieced accessories.
Use the roll on its own for a project that celebrates the full Pop Cloth collection, or combine it with coordinating plain fabrics and blenders to introduce additional contrast and negative space. With every print represented twice, it's an easy way to explore Sew Kind of Wonderful's distinctive mix of graphic pattern and joyful colour without having to select each fabric individually.
