2½” Strip Roll from the Nest Collection by Ghazal Razavi of Figo Fabrics
The Nest Strip Roll brings together the complete colour story of the Nest Collection by Ghazal Razavi of Figo Fabrics for Northcott in a versatile set of pre-cut 2.5" strips. Soft greens, lavender and fig purples, warm pinks, honey yellows and gentle neutrals combine with the collection’s tiny checks, delicate stars, subtle dots and fine stripes.
Each strip roll contains 24 studio-cut strips, measuring 2.5" wide by the width of fabric (WOF), with two strips of each of the 12 fabrics in the collection. Cut here in our Hove studio, the roll gives you a balanced selection of every colour and design in Nest, ready to use without the need to cut individual strips from yardage.
The combination of small-scale patterns and softly coordinated colours makes this strip roll particularly useful for patchwork. Use the strips for log cabin blocks, rail fence designs, strip piecing, borders, bindings and other quilt patterns designed around 2.5" strips. They are equally useful for smaller projects such as quilted bags, cushions, table runners, fabric baskets and pieced accessories.
Nest has a gentle, contemporary character, but its familiar checks, stripes, dots and tiny stars give the collection a timeless quality too. With every fabric represented in the roll, you can work entirely within the coordinated Nest palette or introduce plains, blenders and feature prints to create additional contrast.
All fabrics are 100% cotton and approximately 145gsm. The Nest Strip Roll is a practical way to explore the entire collection in one coordinated precut, whether you have a strip-based quilt in mind or simply enjoy having a ready-cut selection for smaller patchwork projects.
