Product Description
Malvern Field A from the Wide Width collection by Liberty
Beautiful pink Liberty floral print on an navy leaf background
Malvern Field A from Liberty’s Wide Width collection is a richly layered floral design that blends classic Liberty heritage with a bold, contemporary colour story. Set against a deep navy ground, an abundant scatter of blossoms unfolds in shades of coral, rose pink, warm terracotta, soft blush, and golden ochre, interwoven with stylised foliage in tonal blues. The dense composition creates a vibrant tapestry of colour and movement, making it particularly striking across large quilt backs where the design can be appreciated without interruption.
Designed as a wide width backing fabric, this print measures 108" / 275cm in width, allowing many quilts to be finished with a seamless backing — ideal for larger patchwork projects where avoiding joins helps achieve a clean, professional result. The lively mix of florals works beautifully with both traditional and modern quilt tops, adding depth and visual interest while still feeling cohesive.
Beyond quilting, Malvern Field A lends itself to home décor sewing such as bedspreads, statement cushions, lightweight curtains, and decorative throws. The deep navy background anchors the bright florals, creating a versatile fabric that suits both classic interiors and more contemporary spaces.
Printed on 100% cotton with a weight of 145gsm, this wide width quilting cotton is smooth, easy to handle, and presses crisply for accurate sewing. Perfect for quilt backs without seams, it is sold with a minimum order of ½ metre, offering a practical yet visually striking option for patchwork, quilting, and home décor projects.
