Forget-Me-Not: A Cool Garden of Liberty Florals
Soft blues, gentle lilacs and touches of blush pink come together in Forget-Me-Not, a five-piece fat quarter bundle curated in-house at Morris Works with fabrics from Liberty’s Everlasting Collection.
This bundle has the feeling of a delicate summer garden, with floral prints ranging from tiny scattered blossoms to fuller botanical designs. Cornflower and dusty blues provide the thread that runs through the selection, while soft pink, purple, fresh green and crisp pale backgrounds add contrast and keep the palette light and beautifully balanced. Each fabric brings something slightly different to the mix, yet together they create a wonderfully cohesive Liberty colour story.
Forget-Me-Not is particularly lovely for patchwork projects where you want plenty of pattern without overwhelming the design. Use the five fabrics together for quilt blocks, English Paper Piecing, small quilts, cushions, table runners and wall hangings, or introduce coordinating plains and subtle blenders to extend the palette. The mix of floral scales also makes the bundle a useful starting point for bags, pouches, sewing accessories and other smaller projects where individual prints can really be appreciated.
Each bundle has been curated and cut in our Morris Works studio, giving you five coordinating Liberty fabrics without needing to choose them individually. Every fat quarter measures approximately 20" x 22" (50 x 56cm) and is cut from Liberty’s 100% cotton Lasenby Cotton, a premium quilting-weight fabric with a smooth handle and weight of approximately 145gsm.
