Flower Chain Red by Nutex is a charming geometric floral print from the Smitten Chicken Collection, combining a rich red background with a delicate lattice of fine pink lines and tiny stylised flowers. The orderly repeating pattern has a traditional feel, making this an especially useful coordinate for patchwork and quilting.
Fine lines cross diagonally to create a neat diamond grid across the red ground. At regular intervals, small pale pink flowers sit at the intersections, softening the geometry and adding just enough detail to give the design its distinctive character. The limited red and pink palette keeps the print wonderfully versatile, with the tiny motifs reading almost as texture when viewed from a distance.
Made from 100% cotton with a weight of approximately 145gsm, Flower Chain Red is suitable for patchwork and quilting, bag making, accessories and a wide variety of craft and home décor sewing. All quantities greater than 1 metre of fabric are cut to metric measurement. For example, 1.25 metre is cut to 49.2 inches / 125cm.
Care
This fabric is 100% cotton with a printed design. Manufacturer recommends to wash at 30 degrees or cooler. This fabric can be tumble dried on low-medium heat. The estimated shrinkage is between 3 - 5%.
