Daisy Gingham Red by Nutex is a cheerful small-scale coordinate from the Smitten Chicken Collection, combining the familiar charm of gingham with a subtle floral detail. The traditional check is worked in warm red, soft pink and white, with tiny white daisy-like motifs tucked neatly into alternating squares.
The regular repeat gives the fabric a crisp, structured appearance, while the miniature flowers soften the geometry and add a little extra character when viewed up close. From a distance it reads much like a classic red gingham, making it an exceptionally useful coordinate for balancing the collection's larger florals and novelty designs.
Made from 100% cotton with a weight of approximately 145gsm, Daisy Gingham Red is well suited to patchwork and quilting, bag making, accessories and home décor sewing. The small scale works particularly well for quilt blocks, sashing, borders and binding, where the pattern remains clear even when cut into narrow strips or small pieces. It is equally useful for English paper piecing, appliqué, fabric baskets, zip pouches, bunting and handmade kitchen accessories.

This fabric is sold by the ¼ metre, to order 1 full metre, enter a quantity of 4. Quantities of 2 or more will be cut as one continuous piece.

All quantities greater than 1 metre of fabric are cut to metric measurement. For example, 1.25 metre is cut to 49.2 inches / 125cm.
Care
This fabric is 100% cotton with a printed design. Manufacturer recommends to wash at 30 degrees or cooler. This fabric can be tumble dried on low-medium heat. The estimated shrinkage is between 3 - 5%.
