Emily Belle Violet gives Liberty Fabrics’ intricate botanical design a gentle, fresh character. An abundant arrangement of cream flowers, leaves and fine stems is scattered across a soft violet ground, creating a graceful two-colour print that offers plenty of detail while remaining easy to coordinate with other fabrics.
The design brings together flowers of many shapes and scales, from generous open blooms and daisies to tiny blossoms, leafy sprigs and finely drawn foliage. This variation gives the print its natural movement, with different elements emerging depending on how the fabric is cut. Against the violet background, the cream botanical motifs remain crisp and clearly defined without creating a strong or busy contrast.
For patchwork and quilting, Emily Belle Violet can work particularly well as a supporting floral where a plain fabric might feel too simple. It pairs naturally with purples, lilacs and pinks for a softly layered palette, while greens reinforce its garden character. Try it alongside yellow or warm ochre for a livelier contrast, or combine it with cream and other pale neutrals when a gentler scheme is called for.
The varied scale makes the print useful across both larger and smaller areas of a quilt. This fabric is sold by the ¼ metre, to order 1 full metre, enter a quantity of 4. Quantities of 2 or more will be cut as one continuous piece.

All quantities greater than 1 metre of fabric are cut to metric measurement. For example, 1.25 metre is cut to 49.2 inches / 125cm.
Care
This fabric is 100% cotton with a printed design. Manufacturer recommends to wash at 30 degrees or cooler. This fabric can be tumble dried on low-medium heat. The estimated shrinkage is between 3 - 5%.
