Stand the cutter vertically on the material.
Hold firmly the end of the material to cut the center correctly.
To Set the Guides
To Select a Guide
OLFA CHN-1 has guides in 4 different sizes. Turn the ratchet-dial counterclockwise to choose a size of guides. Blade can be seen in the arrow window of the selected guide.
To Get a New Edge
Turn the ratchet-dial clockwise until you hear the locking click to expose a new blade edge. One disc blade “CHB-1” provides 24 cutting edges.
To Replace the Blade
- Slide the locked lever in the direction of the arrow to release the lock.
- Lift the top off and change the blade.
- Align the 2 projections with the recesses, press the two halves together and slide the lever into the locked position.
- Start cutting from blade number “0” after replacing the blade.
Do not change blade in the palm of your hand.
