Hobbs Heirloom Premium 80/20 Cotton Blend is a go-to wadding for quilters who love a classic, low-loft finish with dependable structure. Made from a blend of 80% cotton and 20% polyester, it’s needle punched and bonded for strength—without scrim—offering a soft hand feel and excellent drape while maintaining stability.
This extra-wide 7.5 metre roll measures 120" (305 cm) in width, making it a brilliant option for longarm quilters, group projects, or makers planning multiple quilts. It handles beautifully on both domestic and longarm machines and can be quilted up to 4" (10.2 cm) apart. The polyester content helps the wadding bounce back into shape, while the cotton keeps your quilt breathable and cosy.
Once quilted, it’s fully machine washable and will shrink around 3–5%, giving your quilt that soft, crinkled finish many quilters love. No need to prewash—just cut, baste, and get stitching.
