A Clean, True White for Crisp Contrast
White is a clean, fresh white from the Kona Cotton Solids collection by Robert Kaufman. With no obvious cream or warm undertone, it gives quilts a crisp clarity and makes surrounding colours appear particularly vivid.
A true white earns its place in almost any fabric collection. Use it to create breathing space between saturated colours, sharpen geometric piecing, add contrast to modern quilts, or pair it with prints when you want their colours and patterns to take centre stage. It is equally at home in traditional patchwork, appliqué, backgrounds, borders and binding.
Kona Cotton is a substantial 100% cotton solid with a smooth, closely woven finish and a weight of approximately 148gsm. At 44" wide, it is an excellent all-round quilting cotton for piecing and other sewing projects where consistent colour and a good-quality solid are important.

Up to the first metre of fabric, we cut every ¼ metre increment up to 10" / 25.4cm. ¼ metre - Long Quarter: 10" wide by WOF, order quantity of 1, choose Long Quarter cut ¼ metre - Fat Quarter: 20" wide by ½ WOF, order quantity of 1, choose Fat Quarter cut ½ Metre: 20" wide by WOF, order quantity of 2 ¾ Metre: 30" wide by WOF, order quantity of 3 1 Metre: 40" wide by WOF, order quantity of 4 |
All quantities greater than 1 metre of fabric are cut to metric measurement. For example, 1.25 metre is cut to 49.2 inches / 125cm.
Care
This fabric is 100% cotton with a printed design. Manufacturer recommends to wash at 30 degrees or cooler. This fabric can be tumble dried on low-medium heat. The estimated shrinkage is between 3 - 5%.
