Twinkle Red from The Nutcracker Collection by Makower UK is a richly layered tonal print filled with stars, starbursts and tiny geometric details. Set against a warm festive red ground, the design combines deeper crimson, bright red, coral and soft pink with scattered cream stars that stand out beautifully across the surface. The motifs range from tiny dots and miniature stars to larger five-pointed shapes and radiating bursts, creating a dense, textured pattern with plenty of movement. Its predominantly red palette allows it to function much like a blender while offering considerably more visual interest than a plain fabric.
For patchwork and quilting, Twinkle Red is particularly useful for introducing depth without distracting from larger feature prints. Use it for quilt blocks, borders, sashing, binding and backgrounds, or place it alongside lighter fabrics to create strong contrast and definition. All quantities greater than 1 metre of fabric are cut to metric measurement. For example, 1.25 metre is cut to 49.2 inches / 125cm.
Care
This fabric is 100% cotton with a printed design. Manufacturer recommends to wash at 30 degrees or cooler. This fabric can be tumble dried on low-medium heat. The estimated shrinkage is between 3 - 5%.
