Stonewash Blues Aurifil Quilting Thread
Aurifil Thread: The Beauty of Verigated Blue Thread
Aurifil's Stonewash Blues thread is a homage to the depth and diversity of the ocean, captured in the subtle play of blue shades variegated along a single spool. This 50wt 2-ply thread, a textile masterpiece, is expertly wound onto the iconic orange spool, each large spool containing a generous 1300 metres. The thread is a product of the renowned MAKO Egyptian cotton, a natural treasure known for its long staple fibres that impart both strength and a silken touch to your sewing endeavours.
Colour Code 4969 is not just a numerical identifier; it's a palette of blues that ranges from the palest sky at dawn to the deepest twilight. The Stonewash Blues thread brings a soothing continuity to patchwork projects, a tranquil consistency to quilting stitches, and a harmonious blend to home decor creations.
Revered for its minimal lint production, this thread ensures that the focus remains on the beauty of your work, not the cleanup afterward. The transparent paraffin oil treatment during the winding process enhances the thread's functionality, ensuring it glides through the machine with ease, leaving no residue, only impeccable stitches.
Whether you're executing a Needle Turn Applique with the precision of a seasoned artist or exploring the possibilities of Machine Embroidery, the Stonewash Blues thread is the perfect companion for your needle. Recommended needle types such as 80/12 Microtex/Sharp or 4.0 Longarm needles bring out the best in this thread, ensuring that every piece you create with it is not only a work of art but a mark of unmatched craftsmanship.
