The Nest 5" Charm Pack gathers the complete Nest Collection by Ghazal Razavi of Figo Fabrics for Northcott into a beautifully coordinated selection of pre-cut squares. With its soft palette of greens, lavender and fig purples, warm pinks, honey yellows and gentle neutrals, Nest combines colour with simple, timeless patterns that are easy to use across a wide range of patchwork projects.
Each charm pack contains 48 studio-cut 5" squares, with four squares of each of the 12 fabrics in the collection. Cut here in our Hove studio, the pack includes the full assortment of delicate stars, fine stripes, subtle dots and small-scale checks that gives Nest its distinctive character.
The repeated squares make this pack particularly useful for patchwork designs where you want enough of each fabric to create balance and rhythm across a quilt. Use the 5" squares as they are for simple patchwork, or cut them into half-square triangles, quarter-square triangles and smaller units for more detailed block designs. They're also a useful size for scrappy borders, appliqué, English paper piecing and smaller projects such as cushions, bags, fabric baskets, table runners and quilted accessories.
Nest's restrained patterns allow the colours to do much of the work, making these fabrics easy to combine within the collection or alongside other prints and plains. The mix of warm and cool shades also gives plenty of scope for rearranging the squares into different colour stories, from soft greens and purples to warmer pink, rhubarb, honey and buttercream combinations.
