Made in Australia using 80% high-quality cotton and 20% polyester, this wadding provides a soft, natural hand while offering improved durability and reduced shrinkage compared to 100% cotton alternatives. The polyester content gives the wadding extra resilience, helping quilts hold their shape through use and washing, while the cotton ensures a breathable and comfortable finish.
The wadding is needle-punched with a fine scrim to lock in fibres and prevent bearding. It has an approximate loft of ⅛+ inch (0.3+ cm), a recommended maximum quilting or tying distance of 10 inches (25.4 cm), and a minimal shrinkage rate of just 2.5%. It is prewashed, preshrunk, and machine washable, making it practical for quilts that will be used and loved regularly.

Washing Instructions for Finished Quilt
Always wash in cold to warm water. Not recommended to wash in hot water.
It is recommended to air dry, though a finished quilted item can be tumble dried in a drier on air to warm setting.
