Made in Australia using 80% high-quality cotton and 20% polyester, this wadding provides a soft, natural hand while offering improved durability and reduced shrinkage compared to 100% cotton alternatives. The polyester content gives the wadding extra resilience, helping quilts hold their shape through use and washing, while the cotton ensures a breathable and comfortable finish.
The wadding is needle-punched with a fine scrim to lock in fibres and prevent bearding. It has an approximate loft of ⅛+ inch (0.3+ cm), a recommended maximum quilting or tying distance of 10 inches (25.4 cm), and a minimal shrinkage rate of just 2.5%. It is prewashed, preshrunk, and machine washable, making it practical for quilts that will be used and loved regularly.

- Suitable for both hand quilting and machine quilting
- Prewash not required. Recommended to wash in cold or cool water. Note that if washed in warm or hot water, additional shrinkage will happen, resulting in a very crinkled look. It is always recommended to air dry, though a finished quilted item can be tumble dried in a drier on a cool setting.
