Seaside boats, lighthouses and gulls on a soft coastal blue
Lighthouse Blue by Nutex captures the character of the coast in a charming illustrated print filled with fishing boats, lighthouses and seagulls. Scattered across a soft blue background, the maritime motifs have a gently painted quality, with enough variation and detail to give the fabric plenty of interest without making the overall design feel too busy.
A colourful assortment of small boats sails through the print, from traditional fishing vessels and little rowing boats to boats with bright yellow sails. Red and white striped lighthouses provide striking focal points, joined by smaller coastal buildings and harbour scenes. Seagulls appear both standing and in flight, bringing movement to the design and completing its unmistakably seaside character. The palette combines marine blues with red, white, yellow, muted green and touches of warm brown against the calm blue ground.
Printed on 100% cotton with a weight of approximately 145gsm, Lighthouse Blue is suitable for patchwork and quilting, bag making, accessories, cushions and general home décor sewing. The individual boats, gulls and lighthouses also lend themselves beautifully to fussy cutting for feature blocks, English paper piecing, pockets and smaller details.

This fabric is sold by the ¼ metre, to order 1 full metre, enter a quantity of 4. Quantities of 2 or more will be cut as one continuous piece.

All quantities greater than 1 metre of fabric are cut to metric measurement. For example, 1.25 metre is cut to 49.2 inches / 125cm.
Care
This fabric is 100% cotton with a printed design. Manufacturer recommends to wash at 30 degrees or cooler. This fabric can be tumble dried on low-medium heat. The estimated shrinkage is between 3 - 5%.
