Introducing Hobbs Heirloom Natural 100% Cotton Batting / Wadding - the perfect choice for creating a traditional-looking double-sized quilt with exceptional softness. Made from the finest, clean, natural (unbleached), long-staple, virgin cotton available, this wadding is the epitome of quality.
Not only does this natural cotton wadding get softer with every wash, but it's also perfect for use with medium or dark fabrics. However, please note that if you plan to pair it with white or light-colored fabrics, it's recommended to test it first, as natural cotton can slightly "shadow" these fabrics.
Designed for ease of use, this wadding can be stitched up to 4" apart and is machine washable (once quilted), with an expected shrinkage of 3-5%. Please keep in mind that pre-washing is not recommended for this or any of our other quality wadding products.
Each full / double size pack measures 90” x 96” and is exclusively available at Morris Works. Plus, each pack is hand cut, hand folded, and packaged in 100% plastic-free packaging for added convenience and environmental friendliness.

Pre-Wash
Pre-washing is not recommended for this or any of the Hobbs wadding/batting products.
Washing Instructions for Finished Quilt
Always wash in cold or cool water. Expect additional shrinkage if washed in warm water. Not recommended to wash in hot water.
It is recommended to air dry, though a finished quilted item can be tumble dried in a drier on air to cool setting.
Important Information
Basting spray is not recommended for use with the wadding, as repositioning the top and bottom fabrics can pull apart the cotton.
