Vlieseline G 700 is a high-quality woven fusible interlining designed to add strength, stability, and durability to a wide range of fabric crafts. Made from 100% cotton with a fusible coating on one side, this mediumweight interlining fuses securely to your chosen fabric, providing structure while allowing the natural drape of the fabric to remain. Its woven cotton base makes it particularly strong and resilient, perfect for projects that need a reliable foundation.
Ideal for bag making, pouches, organisers, and textile accessories, G 700 helps fabrics keep their shape while standing up to regular use. It can also be used in quilting projects, fabric boxes, wall hangings, and home décor sewing where added body and strength are required. Crafters will find it especially useful for projects that involve piecing or appliqué, as the woven interlining ensures stability during sewing while still being easy to cut and stitch.
Application is simple: cut the interlining lengthwise with the grain, place the coated side against the reverse of your fabric, cover with a damp cloth, and press section by section for around 12 seconds without sliding the iron. Once fused, allow the fabric to cool flat for 30 minutes to stabilise the bond. With a weight of 90 g/m² and a width of 90 cm, Vlieseline G 700 is washable up to 60°C and durable enough for items that will see everyday wear and handling.
