Deep Sea from the Spritz 2 collection by Andover Fabrics is a beautifully balanced blue-green quilting cotton featuring the collection's signature tonal dot design. Thousands of lighter dots gather into soft bursts before gently dispersing across the fabric, creating subtle movement and depth while retaining the versatility of a classic blender. Rich and calming, Deep Sea evokes the colours of deep coastal waters and forest lagoons.
Its sophisticated colour pairs effortlessly with teals, aquas, navy, slate blues, greens, soft greys and natural neutrals, making it ideal for coastal quilts, botanical designs, modern patchwork and nature-inspired colour palettes. Use Deep Sea for quilt blocks, backgrounds, borders, bindings, appliqué, English Paper Piecing and bag making where a textured solid adds interest without overpowering the design.
Beyond quilting, Deep Sea is equally suited to cushions, table runners, pouches and other sewing projects, adding rich colour and understated texture to both contemporary and traditional makes.

This fabric is sold by the ¼ metre, to order 1 full metre, enter a quantity of 4. Quantities of 2 or more will be cut as one continuous piece.
If ordering only ¼ metre, please be sure to select if you would like a Long Quarter or Fat Quarter cut. Please see illustration below if unsure.

 | We cut our fabrics a little differently here at Morris Works, something we call Studio Cuts, specifically designed for quilters. The bonus - you get more fabric! Up to the first metre of fabric, we cut every ¼ metre increment up to 10" / 25.4cm. ¼ metre - Long Quarter: 10" wide by WOF, order quantity of 1, choose Long Quarter cut ¼ metre - Fat Quarter: 20" wide by ½ WOF, order quantity of 1, choose Fat Quarter cut ½ Metre: 20" wide by WOF, order quantity of 2 ¾ Metre: 30" wide by WOF, order quantity of 3 1 Metre: 40" wide by WOF, order quantity of 4 |
All quantities greater than 1 metre of fabric are cut to metric measurement. For example, 1.25 metre is cut to 49.2 inches / 125cm.
Care
This fabric is 100% cotton with a printed design. Manufacturer recommends to wash at 30 degrees or cooler. This fabric can be tumble dried on low-medium heat. The estimated shrinkage is between 3 - 5%.
