Amethyst from the Spritz 2 collection by Andover Fabrics is a beautifully balanced purple quilting cotton, combining a dusky mauve-amethyst ground with deeper tonal dots. The tiny marks gather into softly radiating clusters before dispersing across the surface, creating an organic pattern with gentle movement and depth. More textured than a plain solid yet restrained enough to support detailed prints, this versatile tonal blender brings a polished layer of colour to both contemporary and traditional sewing projects.
This amethyst purple cotton print is particularly effective in patchwork quilts built around floral, jewel-toned, or softly romantic palettes. Use it for quilt blocks, sashing, borders, binding, or backgrounds where a flat solid might feel too stark. Its medium value offers useful contrast against pale lilacs, creams, and blush pinks, while sitting harmoniously beside deeper plum, indigo, teal, and raspberry fabrics. This fabric is sold by the ¼ metre, to order 1 full metre, enter a quantity of 4. Quantities of 2 or more will be cut as one continuous piece.

All quantities greater than 1 metre of fabric are cut to metric measurement. For example, 1.25 metre is cut to 49.2 inches / 125cm.
Care
This fabric is 100% cotton with a printed design. Manufacturer recommends to wash at 30 degrees or cooler. This fabric can be tumble dried on low-medium heat. The estimated shrinkage is between 3 - 5%.
