Construction is straightforward. When making a strap, interface your fabric for stability or use a good-quality webbing. Thread the strap through the buckle following a standard path—over the first bar, under the centre bar and back out over the far bar—then top-stitch to secure the short return if your design calls for it. When attaching to a bag, bar-tack or stitch a box-and-cross through all layers to create a strong anchor. For best results, keep seams narrow at the hardware ends so the strap moves freely, and melt or tuck raw webbing edges to reduce fray.
Care is simple: wipe the plated surface with a soft cloth and avoid prolonged exposure to moisture to preserve the finish. As with all sewing hardware of this type, these buckles are intended for bags and accessories and are not load-rated for safety-critical tasks.
