Woven Avocado is a warm, textural print from the Ruby + Bee Blenders Collection by Heather Ross for Windham Fabrics. Its design features loosely drawn lines in alternating vertical and horizontal orientations, arranged in a basketweave layout. The blend of chartreuse green lines against an earthy avocado ground gives the fabric a fresh, natural tone that still feels contemporary and versatile.
Made from 100% cotton and weighing 145gsm, this fabric is soft yet stable—perfect for patchwork, tonal backgrounds, low-volume accents, or structured makes like fabric baskets and bag linings. The consistent repeat offers easy cutting and piecing, while the textured look provides movement and cohesion in both modern and traditional layouts.

This fabric is sold by the ¼ metre, to order 1 full metre, enter a quantity of 4. Quantities of 2 or more will be cut as one continuous piece.
If ordering only ¼ metre, please be sure to select if you would like a Long Quarter or Fat Quarter cut. Please see illustration below if unsure.

Up to the first metre of fabric, we cut every ¼ metre increment up to 10" / 25.4cm. ¼ metre - Long Quarter: 10" wide by WOF, order quantity of 1, choose Long Quarter cut ¼ metre - Fat Quarter: 20" wide by ½ WOF, order quantity of 1, choose Fat Quarter cut ½ Metre: 20" wide by WOF, order quantity of 2 ¾ Metre: 30" wide by WOF, order quantity of 3 1 Metre: 40" wide by WOF, order quantity of 4 |
All quantities greater than 1 metre of fabric are cut to metric measurement. For example, 1.25 metre is cut to 49.2 inches / 125cm.
Care
This fabric is 100% cotton with a printed design. Manufacturer recommends to wash at 30 degrees or cooler. This fabric can be tumble dried on low-medium heat. The estimated shrinkage is between 3 - 5%.
