Aurifil’s 8wt cotton thread is made from premium long-staple Egyptian Mako cotton and mercerised for strength and a gentle sheen. The heavier weight gives it beautiful definition on the surface of your quilt or garment, gliding through layers with ease and very little lint.

Recommended Hand Needles: Crewel Size 5 / Tapestry Size 24 or 26
Washing Instructions:
- Machine wash in cold to warm water - no more than 70C / 160F
- Tumble dry at low to no heat
- Iron on low heat
- Can be laundered with bleach (if necessary) in cold water only
