Aurifil’s 8wt thread is their thickest 100% cotton thread, spun from long-staple Egyptian Mako fibres and mercerised for sheen and smooth handling. This vivid blue thread glides easily through fabric with minimal lint, making it ideal for big stitch quilting, visible mending, redwork, and Sashiko.

Recommended Hand Needles: Crewel Size 5 / Tapestry Size 24 or 26
Washing Instructions:
- Machine wash in cold to warm water - no more than 70C / 160F
- Tumble dry at low to no heat
- Iron on low heat
- Can be laundered with bleach (if necessary) in cold water only
