Hobbs Heirloom Premium 80/20 Cotton Blend is a versatile, low-loft quilt wadding that’s loved by quilters for its soft finish and reliable performance. Made from 80% natural cotton and 20% polyester, this bonded and needle-punched blend gives you a breathable quilt with the added strength needed for frequent use or washing.
The Full Size cut (90" x 96" / 229 x 244 cm) is ideal for UK double bed quilts, generous throws, or special occasion gifts. It’s bonded for stability and doesn’t include a scrim, so it drapes beautifully while staying put during quilting. Whether you’re quilting by hand or machine, this blend delivers a smooth finish and is easy to manage even for beginners.
Expect gentle shrinkage (around 3–5%) after the first wash, which gives your quilt that classic, softly puckered texture. No need to prewash—just layer, baste, quilt, and enjoy!
