Wool batting / wadding is great for both hand quilting and machine quilting. Wool utilises wool's lightweight, odour resistant and biodegradable properties - it’s also a natural fire retardant. Wool in the warmest type of quilt wadding, and like cotton wadding, breathes better than polyester waddings.
Cozy-warm and easy to quilt, wool wadding is a popular choice for quilters. Wool has an airy loft that creates great stitch-definition for showing off fancy machine quilting - it is equally beautiful to hand quilt through. Wool is a 100% natural fiber which resists folding and creasing.
It it recommended to hand wash in cold water and to lay flat to dry.
Made from 100% needlepunched wool, with scrim, this hypoallergenic wool wadding brings a warm and luxuriously soft feel to your quilting projects. Excellent for machine quilting. Choice of sizes available to meet your requirements. Up to 8 inches between stitches.
